Soft play hire: collect in Durbanville or request delivery?

Transport is worth deciding early when you book soft play for a party. At Busy Body Soft Play Hire, you can collect the toys from our Durbanville depot and return them yourself for free. Delivery is optional. Here is what to consider so your quote and party-day plans match.

Free collection keeps things simple

Our depot is at Stor-Age Durbanville. Choosing collection means there is no delivery charge from us; you arrange your own trip to pick up the equipment and bring it back. It is worth considering whether you are planning a party in Durbanville, Bellville, Brackenfell or elsewhere in Cape Town. Factor in your own travel time and fuel rather than assuming collection has no cost to your household.

Before choosing collection, ask these questions

Confirm the collection and return times with us, including how they fit around venue access. Tell us which package and extras you want, and ask how much vehicle space the complete booking needs. Do not assume everything will fit in your car simply because individual toys look small in a photograph. Ask about loading and any handling instructions, then allow time for both journeys in your party plans.

Plan the return as well as the pick-up

It is easy to plan the exciting part and forget the end of the party. Decide who will return the equipment, check when your venue needs to be cleared, and agree the return arrangement before booking. If someone else is collecting or returning for you, make sure they have the confirmed details. We have not listed fixed depot hours here: ask us to confirm the times for your enquiry.

When delivery works better

If you cannot collect, request delivery in your quote enquiry. The delivery cost is added to your quote. Send the full party address and any access details, such as stairs or restricted vehicle access, so we can discuss the arrangement. Ask us to confirm the total distance charged, the delivery fee, timing and return arrangements; do not calculate a final fee from a one-way map distance alone. Delivery availability must be confirmed for your date and location.

Choose your option on the quote form

Select “I'll collect” for free pick-up and drop-off at our Durbanville depot. If you prefer “Deliver to me”, add the party address when the address field appears. Include your date, package and extras so we can reply with a useful quote. You can also contact us to clarify transport before choosing. An enquiry is the start of the conversation, not confirmation that the equipment or delivery is booked.
